An exciting new sponsorship deal announced this week will see Newark’s Bailey ‘BadBoy’ Sugden take on the role of brand ambassador for Kryjer Clothing, a premium collection of athletic and lifestyle apparel for both men and women.
One of the hottest prospects on the world’s leading stand up promotion, the Suggy’s Gym professional is already building a reputation as the poster boy of British kickboxing.
Ranked No 1 in the UK and currently No 13 as a GLORY Featherweight, 20-year old Bailey described the partnership between himself and Kryjer as the perfect fit.
“We’re both up and coming, at the start of our journeys, so working together makes a lot of sense. They’re going places, so am I and, let’s face it, could there be a better ambassador for a company whose name means ‘Warrior’? Because anyone who’s seen me in the ring will know that’s exactly what I am,” he said.
“And it’s not just the high quality of the range that makes it stand out above the rest. It’s trendy and stylish too so it’s great in or out of the gym, which means it’s going to work for everyone, whether they’re athletes or not.”
Designed for high comfort and performance, the Kryjer collection uses specifically developed and standardised fabrics to ensure great fit, flexibility and moisture management during a workout.
“Although we’re a young company, we’re confident we have what it takes to change the future of athletic and lifestyle wear,” said Shivang Mehra, director of Birmingham-based Kryjer.
“Our mission is to provide comfortable clothing that not only enhances performance but also inspires everyone though its innovative design and fit.
“When we looked for someone to work with, BadBoy was the obvious choice – a young fighter who is already making his mark on the international kickboxing stage, his performance and attitude are an inspiration to everyone watching his progress to the top of his chosen discipline. So we’re delighted to welcome him to the Kryjer family.”
Suggy’s Gym head coach Dean Sugden added: “Bailey couldn’t do what he does without the support of all his sponsors and this new partnership is particularly appropriate not just for him and for Kryjer but for Suggy’s Gym too.
“We look forward to working together in what we’re sure will be a highly successful and mutually beneficial relationship.”
